• Course Length: 1 day 9.30am-4pm
• Skill level: Beginner
• Qualification: 5 SCA Diploma points and certification
• Maximum Class size: 4
• Exam requirements: There is a short practical exam at the end of the day, and an online written exam to be completed within 21 days of course completion.

• Coffee Knowledge – origins of coffee and sensory impact of species and process.
• Brewing Methods and Equipment
• Brewing Guidelines – 7 essential elements of brewing.
• Brew analysis – brewing for optimum extraction and navigating the brewing control chart.
